Two days dedicated to professional fishermen in Ancona with the LIFE Delfi project, co-financed by the LIFE Program of the European Commission and coordinated by IRBIM-CNR of Ancona. The free dolphin watching course dedicated to professional fishermen will be held on July 11 and 12. They will have the opportunity to participate in a theoretical session on dolphin watching as an alternative economic activity and on all the notions to carry out this activity at sea. From theory we will move on to practice with a sea trial accompanied by experts from the University of Siena partner of Life Delfi: Prof. Enrica Franchi (Biology and ethology of cetaceans of the Mediterranean Sea); Prof. Davide Bedocchi (Techniques of sighting and recognition of cetaceans of the Mediterranean Sea); Dr. Caterina Caruso (Methods of re-evaluation of dolphin health status).
